Playworks have been asked to encourage children and young people with their homework

Playworks will create a homework area. Children and young people can access this area should they choose to do so. However, Playworks provide a play service encouraging social interaction and play. May we ask parents and carers to support their child in their choices, and if they prefer to play they should be allowed to do so. Playworks staff will support homework where possible.
Playworks always plan for activities and opportunities that link to the Early Years Foundation Stage, this means that we make available opportunities for children to access the seven areas of learning. We link these areas to ideas and suggestions that they have contributed to ensure their interest and enthusiasm. Please be assured that your child is always learning through play.

Please note that the homework area can only be set up in the Playroom. Usual play and noise levels will continue.
